To revise properties and uses of materials, using correct vocabulary, and to understand how materials are chosen for specific purposes

To know that everyday appliances use electricity

To know that some everyday appliances use electricity from batteries

To know how to make connections and electrical circuits, using bulbs, batteries and wires

To know that electricity is very dangerous and to understand how to avoid common sources of danger in and out of the house
